Edinburgh Coffee Morning 150107:

Blimey.

What a response in just a few hours.

Tons of people have said they'd be up for it, so it looks like a goer. For some it's a bit short notice and provides a modicum of diary-clash. But nevertheless it looks like we'll have reasonable numbers.

Here's who are up for it this week or the week after:
The polished, informed, uber-affable, Pete Burns, MD of blondedigital.
That fine blogger of a man Peter Collingridge of aptstudio.
Phil Adams of the Leith Agency. (the only ad agency MD blogger I know of in the UK, other than Neil Christie of Wieden+Kennedy.)
Paul Stallard, Head of Leithal Thinking, who I've never met, but would like to.
Sexy and Shaven Tim Maguire, Director, Producer, Writer, Actor: Mother, Wieden+Kennedy,1576, Faulds.
Juliet Lawrence Wilson; Food writer, columnist, V/O artist and blogger. I've never met Juliet, but seen her photograph on her website, and so would like to. (However she is married to Tim, so I'd better be careful what I say, and remember to delete the bit about fancying her. Surely I wouldn't be so stupid to forget.)

If I've missed anyone, or indeed you can think of anyone else I should invite, please let me know.

Update Monday 15th Jan: Over the weekend, Ewan McIntosh of the excellent EduBlogs, said he'd come along. Which is terrific. With more good news today, when Alan Ainsley, Design Director at Leith, also said he'd be there Friday.

ps. (I've mentioned this before but it's such a wonderful oversight on SixApart's part, (if you know what I mean) that it bears repeating. As I was spell-checking this post, it appears that Typepad's spelling software doesn't actually recognise the word, er, 'blogger'. As you can see it offers; flogger, bloke, and blocker as suggestions. You couldn't make this stuff up. Marvellous.)

I didn't realise this was on until someone from the London coffee morning tipped me off. Can I come, too? I'm co-organising the nascent BarCampScotland early March and it would be great to have you guys come along to that, too. Nice to 'meet' you through your blog.
