I've just spent a very pleasant hour and had a nice cup of tea with Gwen Yip.
She's keeping an online journal of her travels in Europe and her interviews and placements in ad agencies.
She's a Blogger, Illustrator, Art Director and Animator of infuriatingly rich talent, and was in Edinburgh seeing some of the agencies here, so she came into Whitespace for a chat and showed me her work. (She'd also seen Gerry at Leith and Gareth at Newhaven I believe.)
I had seen some of drawings and illustrations on her blog, but it was nice to meet her in person and see some more of her work.
It's great.
And now she's looking for work as an Art Director in the UK.
So if you work in an ad or design agency, do yourself a favour, ask her in and have a look at her book.
